Canopeo is a product that provides agriculture information via mobile apps and integration with a website, API, and storage platform.  The original Canopeo project had been developed by researchers from a major state university.  By the time it was brought to Beardon it had already been serving tens of thousands users ranging throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and South America.  Unfortunately the growth of the project had introduced instability within the end user experience.  Beardon was asked to enlarge the capacity of the program.  Beardon re-implemented the API and websites as a node.js application.  The hosting services were moved into a robust cloud environment and security was increased.  The goal of providing dependable availability and secure storage and access were accomplished.  A much needed update of the mobile application codebase will enable additional functionality and stability for future users of the product.
